3D Tetris Information
The special feature of the game is the three-dimensional turning the game pieces similar to the game BlockOut. The main difference, however, is that the whole game even three-dimensional scene in space can rotate.
History
The game was developed 1997/98 by Rainer Hennig and » Bertram Städing. As a result, the game was further developed, so it came as a high score list.
In 2005, the complete website with the content management system Typo3. This was the project of » Typo3dabei.
The Mobile version of the game was developed in 2007 and many mobile phones have already been successfully tested. The only difference to the desktop version is that no highscore list was integrated. This may in future versions but still change.
License
The game is available as freeware. Anyone can play downloaded from the website. It is also known as » PC version and as » mobile version. In addition, it allows each user to play the game on his own website involved.
Technical relationships
The 3D presentation was without additional 3D libraries themselves. This is the central projection with diffuse lighting model. The game is linked to 60 kByte very small in file size. It runs from JVM (Java Virtual Machine) version 1.1. In the past, Internet Explorer 4 and 5 with a JVM delivered and thus was the game in this browser immediately expiration. Today, the JVM developed by Sun Microsystems as a plugin.
The mobile version has been implemented as midlet and is current on all java-enabled mobile phones running.
